Why was my stuff not accepted?
-
Merchandise may be rejected for many reasons. We do not accept clothing that shows excessive wear (fading, pills, stains). Sometimes we need to limit a particular size or style. Please refer to "How To Consign" for more detailed guidelines.

What happens to my stuff at the end of the season?
-
All items stay in the store for one season. You may reclaim winter season merchandise before Feb. 28 and summer season merchandise before August 31. It is your responsibility to notify us before these dates if you wish to pick up any unsold merchandise. We will then gather your things and hold them for two weeks. (*See below for exceptions.) Anything left after the two week holding period will become property of the Circle Shop, to sell or donate as we see fit.
*Books and videos must be pulled by the consignor.
*We will sometimes agree to keep select items for longer than one season, but you must still contact us before the season's end to renew your contract. Some examples: cribs, furniture, and large baby equipment; transitional clothing (jeans and light jackets); non-seasonal clothing (school uniforms, baby onesies and sleepers, costumes); special occasion clothing (suits and formal dresses).

Why didn’t I receive a check?
-
Checks are mailed quarterly, and only if a consignor’s credit is $10.00 or more. Balances under $10.00 roll over to the next season, or may be used for purchases in the store.

Can I use my credit in the store?
-
Yes! Just ask before we finalize your transaction, and we will gladly apply any credit to your purchases.

Can I use my mother’s credit in the store?
-
No. For the protection of all consignors’ accounts, we do not allow transfer of credit.

Can you hold my payment instead of sending a check?
-
Yes. If you do not wish to receive a check, just let us know at least a week before the mailing date. You are always welcome to spend your credit in the store, and you never “lose” credit by letting it ride.

Can I pick up my payment in cash?
-
No. We make payments by check, mailed quarterly, and by store credit in exchange for merchandise. You may pick up your check in the store instead of having it mailed. Just let us know at least one week before the mailing date.

Do I need an appointment to bring things in?
-
You do not need an appointment to drop off most items for consignment (clothing, toys, books). See drop off days and times here. However, it is a good idea to call first when bringing in large furniture or equipment.

Why don’t you go through my things while I’m there?
-
We have always found it more efficient to sort and price items without the consignor present. We will gladly hold any left over items for you to pick up within two weeks. Or, we will forward these items to charity if you do not want them back.

What charities do you donate to?
I missed the deadline, can I still get my stuff back?
-
You must contact us before the end of the season (Feb. 28/August 31) in order to reclaim unsold items. No exceptions. Due to limited storage space, we do not hold items longer than two weeks. Anything left after two weeks will be donated to charity.

I was a customer many years ago, do I still have an account?
- If your account has been inactive for more than one year, we will simply ask you to update your information and review the contract.

Do you have layaway?
-
We do not offer layaway. We will gladly hold your selections for 24 hours, or you may pay for your purchases and arrange for a later pick up date.

What is your return policy?
-
Most items are returnable for exchange or refund until the end of the next business day. Tags must remain on clothing. All Clearance sales are final.
